In that vision, I observed three large magmatic reservoirs: an upper one close to the surface, an intermediate and larger one, and a deeper system of great energetic power exerting upward pressure within the causal chain of the supervolcano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This experience was recorded in a book written in 2008. I do not present it as scientific proof in itself, but as a yogic perception that must be contrasted with verifiable data. Years later, geology confirmed that Yellowstone does not consist of a single magma chamber but of a complex system with two major reservoirs: an upper rhyolitic reservoir between approximately 5 and 17 km depth, and a deeper basaltic reservoir between about 20 and 50 km. The USGS indicates that the upper system contains only about 5% to 15% molten material, reducing alarmist interpretations, yet confirming a deeper structural complexity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From my perspective, there is still a deeper component not fully understood\u2014not necessarily a \u201cthird chamber\u201d in classical terms, but a deeper layer of energy transfer, heat, volatiles, and pressure that could be decisive in the long-term evolution of the system. Modern science recognizes that Yellowstone is fed by a mantle plume and a complex network of partially molten regions, not a single liquid cavity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The key point is not to irresponsibly claim an imminent eruption. The USGS states there is no evidence of a near-term supereruption. However, Yellowstone remains an active system: hydrothermal explosions, seismic swarms, ground deformation, and geyser variations must be continuously monitored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The strategic question is different: can a civilization that is rapidly altering the atmosphere, oceans, ice masses, and energy balance of the planet continue acting as if all Earth systems were independent?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. James Hansen stated that to preserve a habitable Earth similar to the one in which civilization developed, atmospheric CO\u2082 should be reduced to around 350 ppm. Today, humanity remains above that threshold, increasing planetary energy imbalance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A careful hypothesis\u2014not a definitive claim\u2014can be formulated: while science has not proven that global warming can directly trigger Yellowstone, we do know that Earth operates as an interconnected system. Changes in temperature affect ice, water distribution, crustal stress, and hydrothermal systems. In some volcanic regions, changes in surface load have influenced magmatic activity. Therefore, investigating potential links between climate change and deep geophysical systems is a valid precautionary approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The greatest danger is not Yellowstone itself. Yellowstone is a symbol of extreme risk. The real threat is a civilization ignoring cumulative signals: climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, ocean acidification, food instability, desertification, social instability, and conflict over resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2019, I designed the <strong>Planetary Climate Emergency Master Plan<\/strong>\u2014not as an abstract theory, but as an operational response. La ciencia moderna ya reconoce que Yellowstone se alimenta de una pluma mant\u00e9lica, de intrusiones bas\u00e1lticas profundas y de una red compleja de reservorios, bolsas de fusi\u00f3n parcial, gases, calor y roca caliente, no de una cavidad simple llena de magma l\u00edquido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El punto central no es afirmar irresponsablemente una erupci\u00f3n inminente. La USGS sostiene que no existe evidencia actual de una supererupci\u00f3n pr\u00f3xima y que muchos cambios geot\u00e9rmicos de Yellowstone forman parte de la din\u00e1mica normal del sistema. En ese momento ya se encontraba alrededor de 385 ppm; hoy la humanidad contin\u00faa por encima de ese umbral, agravando el desequilibrio energ\u00e9tico planetario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aqu\u00ed debe formularse una hip\u00f3tesis prudente, no una afirmaci\u00f3n cerrada: aunque la ciencia no ha demostrado que el calentamiento global pueda activar directamente Yellowstone, s\u00ed sabemos que el sistema Tierra funciona mediante interdependencias profundas. El aumento de temperatura altera hielos, oc\u00e9anos, presi\u00f3n superficial, circulaci\u00f3n de fluidos, ciclos de agua, estr\u00e9s cortical y sistemas hidrotermales. En algunos contextos volc\u00e1nicos del mundo, los cambios de carga por hielo, agua o erosi\u00f3n pueden influir sobre sistemas magm\u00e1ticos. Por lo tanto, investigar la posible relaci\u00f3n entre crisis clim\u00e1tica, redistribuci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica, actividad hidrotermal y estabilidad geol\u00f3gica profunda no es irracional: es una l\u00ednea de precauci\u00f3n planetaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El peligro mayor no es solo Yellowstone. Yellowstone es un s\u00edmbolo extremo. El verdadero riesgo es una civilizaci\u00f3n que ignora se\u00f1ales acumulativas: calentamiento global, p\u00e9rdida de biodiversidad, contaminaci\u00f3n, acidificaci\u00f3n oce\u00e1nica, crisis alimentaria, desertificaci\u00f3n, inestabilidad social, guerras por recursos y p\u00e9rdida de gobernanza racional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por eso, en 2019 dise\u00f1\u00e9 el <strong>Master Plan de Emergencia Clim\u00e1tica Planetaria<\/strong>: no como una teor\u00eda abstracta, sino como una respuesta operativa a una amenaza sist\u00e9mica. Su principio rector es simple: reducir el da\u00f1o, restaurar equilibrio, reorganizar la econom\u00eda global, eliminar pobreza extrema, acelerar la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica, usar ciencia avanzada y cooperaci\u00f3n internacional, y devolver a la humanidad una direcci\u00f3n \u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La humanidad enfrenta una elecci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica. Puede seguir actuando de manera fragmentada, competitiva, irracional y depredadora, o puede cooperar en una transformaci\u00f3n superior de la civilizaci\u00f3n. Lo que est\u00e1 en juego no es una ideolog\u00eda. Es la continuidad de la vida compleja, de la cultura humana y de nuestra dignidad como especie consciente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esto es lo que tenemos por perder: la estabilidad clim\u00e1tica, la seguridad alimentaria, las ciudades costeras, los ecosistemas, la paz social, la continuidad civilizatoria y, en el peor escenario, la habitabilidad de grandes regiones del planeta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bfY qu\u00e9 tenemos por ganar?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Podemos recuperar la dignidad como hijos de Dios ante el universo entero. Podemos reconstruir la civilizaci\u00f3n sobre un modelo superior de orden, paz, progreso, ciencia, justicia, cooperaci\u00f3n y equidad.
