El templo principal se ha reformado desde entonces y en la actualidad es una estructura de hormig\u00f3n armado de reciente construcci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">\n<p lang=\"\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Century Gothic, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Banganga en la mitolog\u00eda<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Century Gothic, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Seg\u00fan la leyenda local, el estanque surgi\u00f3 cuando el Se\u00f1or Ram, el h\u00e9roe exiliado de la \u00e9pica Ramayana, se detuvo en el lugar en busca de su esposa secuestrada, Sita. \u200b<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">\n<p lang=\"\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: Century Gothic, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Cuenta la leyenda que, abrumado por la fatiga y la sed, Rama le pidi\u00f3 a su hermano Lakshmana que le trajera un poco de agua.
